Twelve Baltimores took off at 12.29 hours to bomb supply dumps in the vicinity of ZAGAROLO Railway Station. After rendezvous with 12 Baltimores of 223 Squadron at VINCHIATURO the formation flew to target via AVEZZANO and returned the same way. The formation approached from the S.E., made a dummy run and bombed through a gap in the clouds. Good pattern but no results observed. No enemy opposition and all aircraft landed at base by 14.33 hours. Sortie Reports No. 580 and Squadron R/O No. 20/44
2/Lt. Guisset (pilot), 2/Lt. Troup (observer), F/Sgt. Viktor (WT/AG) and A/Sgt. Esplin (A.G.) reported for duty.
