A formation of 12 Baltimores led by Captain ORD took off at 1043 hours to attack junction of roads in PATERNO village. The formation attacked in two boxes of six. No. 1 Box bombed SOUTH or S.W corner of village. Some bombs burst in village. No. 2 box straddled target in good pattern. Buildings were hit and direct hits scored on road.
