This morning the Commanding Officer led a formation of 18 Baltimores on a raid on SFAX el Maou L.G. The weather was fine and the target was everything that could be desired. The bombs fell among dispersed aircraft on the sides and amongst blast shelters around the L.G. Five fires were started one of which was big. The whole target area was well covered by bursts. In the afternoon Capt MOUTON led a formation of 17 Baltimores and 1 Boston to bomb the landing ground again but the formation was recalled just after setting course. Weather again.
