Zuara

We had two shows today. The first show was on the road leading away from MARETH Village. Oprep. No. 232, Sortie Report, and Crew List.
We sent 12 Baltis, led by Maj. JANDRELL, and there were also six Bostons from the other S.A. Squadrons. The target was very poor as not more than 12 vehicles were seen on the entire GABES-MARETH Road. Four aircraft were slightly holed by A/A.
In the afternoon we sent six aircraft with 12 Bostons to Bomb M.T.in and around the Wadi at KATTANA. The target once more was very poor. Oprep. No.233. Sortie report and Crew List. Bombs fell near the causeway and a couple of M.T. The Heavy A/A was intense but inaccurate. F/Sgt. MOORE, J. who is SMITH’s gunner, was wounded in the buttock by some splinters. He was landed at NOFFATIA and left at the M.R.S.
