98066 Lieut. S. S. FORSYTH, Signals Officer, to replace Captain P. C. VIVIAN (injured by mine fragments on 7 Jan. 43, and still in hospital) is posted in from No. 12 Squadron. 103719 LIEUT. A. J. COOPER, Observer, who has been non-effective following a slight shrapnel wound, returns to duty.

Shortly before lunch the Squadron was reminded of the war, when an anti-personnel land mine exploded in “A” Flight dispersal area. It seemed that the recent rains had interfered with the detonator as it exploded only about a minute after being run over by a truck. Fortunately no damage was done.
