Five aircraft took off early to continue the search commenced yesterday afternoon and had been gone about an hour when one returned to advise that the missing truck had been located about 15 miles WSW of CHEL. The remaining aircraft were recalled and transport was sent out to fetch the party in.

Advice received from Wing that the new ZLITEN landing grounds are condemned and that the Squadron is not to move until instructed to do so. Major BARNBY, Acting Commanding Officer, accompanied the Wing Commander to ZLITEN to inspect the aerodromes and then on to CASTEL BENITO. They went by air and are expected back today. Conference held in the Officers Mess and attended by all Officers and N.C.O's. In charge of Flights and Sections to arrange the movement. A small ground party will remain here and the rest of theSquadron will move at 07.15 hours tomorrow. Aircraft will fly up, to arrive as soon as camp is established at the new landing ground.

A bioscope having been promised, the entire Squadron turned out. After two contradictory messages from Wing, the show was cancelled at 20.15.
