O.C. proceeded to S.A.A.F. H.Q., to make arrangements in regard to Administration of the squadron, returning this afternoon.
The squadron commenced its night flying training programme, the two aircraft employed taking off and landing from dusk till shortly after 2030 hours. The O.C. Col. IRVINE, Maj. COPPEN and Capt. POTGIETER were the pilots. No crews went up.
Maj. JANDRELL, Supernumerary Flight Commander, was admitted to No. 106 General Hospital this afternoon suffering from Malaria. Maj. JANDRELL had apparently been infected at JUBA where he was on duty in connection with the crash of Baltimore 138.
