El Firdan

The following suggestions were made in a Postagram from, A.H.Q. Egypt addressed to HQ., R.A.F., M.E., copy of which was received by this squadron to-day:
As EL FIRDAN aerodrome is unsuitable for training on Baltimore aircraft, squadron personnel should remain at EL FIRDAN for dispersal purposes while the aircraft use ISMAILIA aerodrome for training where the aircraft would be dispersed. A small maintenance party would be attached to ISMAILIA under orders of the O.C. No. 21 Squadron. Aircraft requiring inspections would be landed at EL FIRDAN by experienced pilots, aiding in dispersal of aircraft.
These suggestions appear very feasible and should prove very easy to put into practice. ISMALIA aerodrome is but a small distance from EL FIRDAN and the transport of a small maintenance staff and-flying personnel should represent little difficulty.‍
