A number of our officers are participating at the S. A. A.F. Base Camp in a Court Martial, one of them, Capt. Stuart, is a member of the Court, our Lieut. Newman is appearing as Prosecuting Officer and four other officers of the squadron are attending "under instruction". By a strange chance the accused is an N.C.O. formerly a member of this unit.
One of our visitors who periodically drop in to see us about our aircraft called in to-day. He was Mr. Paul Saunders of the Glen Martin Company, U.S.A. who came to make enquiries as to progress on the new type and to assist us with any suggestions
The advantages of having with us a direct representative of the company which produces the aircraft we are to fly – and at that an Engineer who has spent many years in the research branch of his Company – need hardly be cited. Mr. Saunders has visited us in the past – our Aircraft were also Glen Martins in those days – and with the receipt of these new aircraft his visit is most opportune.
