Cold as the Arctic circle again this morning. Most of the morning was taken up by the Efitorial staff of "OH 21" preparing for press with a real topical 'Bombing’ number.
Nine Marylands took part in a show today with a similar number from 12 Squadron a bombing raid on the escarpment below TRIGH CAPUZZO. The target was again M.T. vehicles and A.F.V s and some good damage was wreaked on several targets. The Jerries disperse very well however and invariably prove but an indifferent target in this type of attack. Jack Friedman returned from 0. 21 with the reinforcements and replacements. Some of the fellows seem to be quite a good type and eager to settle down to the life of the squadron.
Jerry was over again tonight and dropped some heavy bombs at the rail-head. It seems strange that the powers that be do not send a few night fighters up for from the ground the Hun aircraft can be clearly seen and would be "Cats meat" for our night fighters. But apart from the one memorable night there has been a marked absence of night fighters over this area.
