L.G. 021

Four of the visiting Blenheims took off this morning, their pilots having been accommodated at our camp for the night. The damaged aircraft was left, awaiting salvage operations, at the edge of the landing field.
Notification was received of the promotion of A/Capt. W.S. O’Brien Administrative officer of the Squadron, to A/Major.
Our second publication of "OH.21” was "released” today and in view of its reception it has been decided to continue publication each week as long as circumstances permit.
Two of our Marylands were today detailed to carry out a search for survivors from allied vessels reported to have been sunk North of BARDIA. The two aircraft carried out searches over the areas given but visibility owing to haze caused by dust clouds carried out to sea was poor and the craft were unsuccessful in their search, though this was carried out at low altitudes.
