To-day we "published" our first edition of "Oh21" which it was intended to produce weekly as another effort in the direction of making life as enjoyable and as amusing as possible in the Western Desert. Our first effort was well-received and circumstances permitting, the publication will be continued as the time and labour expended have proved well worthwhile.
A signal was received today from Medium Bomber wing stating that "except in emergency, your squadron will be released from operations on October 6 and 7". After the special parade of the entire squadron this morning at which the congratulatory message, received yesterday, was read, it was consequently decided to release all those who could be spared within the bounds of reasonable safety for a break of two days.
