Pescara, Italy

Twelve Marauders in three boxes of 4 aircraft set out to attack a Road Bridge at M.629274. The first and third boxes overshot, bombs falling in open country. The second box had a 40 yards overshoot and straddled the road alongside Canal. Moderate, fairly accurate heavy A.A. encountered, two aircraft being holed. Last aircraft down by 13.51 hours.
