Advice received by telephone from S.A.A.F. H.Q., CAIRO, that four crews are to report there in order to ferry aircraft from the Union.
Certain difficulties attend this posting of crews as pilots are now required for aircraft which will be available for training purposes in a very short time.

Pescara, Italy

Twelve Marauders airborne at 08.30 hrs. accompanied by a further six aircraft of 12 Squadron to attack FORLI Marshalling Yards. The raid was led by Capt. ADAM. Eight Spits. provided close escort. Pattern of both boxes merged in a 500 yards concentrated stick straddling Marshalling Yards at M.445168, with numerous direct hits on railroad lines and buildings at beginning and end of pattern. No enemy opposition encountered.
