Two Baltimores took off at 2300 Hrs. last night and attacked the road at C.9830 and a wadi at C.9445 (Map Reference 1:500,000 SICILIA NE 36/12), between 2355 Hrs. to 0030 Hrs. from 11/13,000’ Three flares were dropped. NO results observed. Weather and visibility good. Isolated inaccurate bursts of H.A.A from MOZZARA area. Last aircraft landed at LUQA at 0135 Hrs. Sortie Report and Crew List.
Lieut. Thompson (Asst. I. Officer), arrived from SICILY and advised that our rear party had arrived intact in SICILY.
