Seven of the personnel of the squadron who can be spared without replacements were sent to CAIRO with the post truck this morning.
No further news of our aircraft beyond the fact that four of them had arrived in the Middle East has been received.
The Adjutant during his visit to CAIRO contacted Air H.Q.Egypt who did not even appear to be aware of the fact that these aircraft had arrived.

Rear party
At 1030 Hrs. the Convoy of 13 barges, escorted by 6 sub-chasers sailed for SICILY. It was a real picturesque sight, to see the 13 barges sail in three rows and one trailing behind and the whole Convoy led by a sub-chaser. The sea was very calm and consequently it was very smooth sailing. It was not until the night that the sea became slightly rough and the barges were rocking quite a bit.
