1605 Twelve Baltimores led by Capt. Stuart raided RANDAZZO Village. Bombs fell on SOUTH of village and some amongst railway buildings. No A.A. or enemy fighters seen. A few A.A. bursts were seen as the formation crossed the bomb line.

Notification was received that a Boston Aircraft of No. 24 Squadron was leaving for MALTA. All mail of personnel over at MALTA was sent as well as a supply of whiskey. In the evening all 3 Wing personnel were entertained by a French Concert Party, who visited the Squadron. Notification received from 3 Wing that 125 replacements were expected.

A quiet week apart from the very strenuous work that a conversion entails. Several games of Soft Ball have been played and the barracking is well worth listening to as there are none of the opposite sex present to curb the somewhat lurid flow of well meaning and at times appropriate adjectives.
