Apart from the sight of a Hurricane of the Free French Squadron crash-landing beyond our aerodrome followed by the excitement which disturbed the Sunday Serenity or our camp, there was little to record. The pilot of the Hurricane whose engine cut as he was carrying out some low flying made a perfect landing and the pilot was uninjured.

Four Baltimores took off at intervals of 20 minutes to bomb movement on roads leading from NORTH and EAST into NICOSIA. Bombs were dropped on road and NORTH of town. M.T. were also bombed 4 miles NORTH WEST of NICOSIA. Results were good. Lieuts. SIMPSON and WILLMOT were attacked by enemy night fighters, further attacks were successfully evaded.

The MALTA move has been postponed for another 24 hours, however it is anticipated that this will definitely take place tomorrow. Lieut. FORSMAN posted to S.A.A.F. Adv. Base Depot. Air Sgt. GOLDBERG posted to 7 Squadron. 2 other ranks posted R.T.U. on compassionate grounds. Lieut. MURMAN (Pilot) arrived on posting to the Squadron.
