Another sabbath upon us. As usual all who were able went down to the sea or spent the day in ALEX. Regular transport is provided to enable as many men as possible to get a break from the monotony of the camp and the stifling heat and the swirling dust storms.

Biferno, Italy

On the first operation a Railway Bridge near FANO was bombed without enemy opposition. Sortie Report No. 720.
Later in the day MACERATA Railway Viaduct was attacked with striking success.  Sortie Report No. 721.
Lieut. ACKERMANN (pilot) reported for duty.
