A signal was received from CAIRO to-day advising us of the commissioning of S/Maj. Jack Friedman as Assistant Adjutant, a post he has in actual practice filled since the Squadron arrived in the Middle East. “Japie” as he is familiarly known has his own particular niche in the Squadron’s activities and numerous celebrations in camp marked the occasion.
