Doubtless inspired by the sterling efforts of British bombers over Germany, our Pilots and Observers were "at it" from an early hour today on bombing practice. Bombing, carried out with light smoke bombs, from a height of 10,000 feet was not too accurate on the first outing but in view of the comprehensive nature of the practice flights, the exercise was well worth while. Shots were taken with aerial cameras of the bombing. W/T Air-Gunners communicated and took bearings on their ground station and Observers acquainted themselves with the new bomb-release gear in the Baltimores. At the conclusion of the practice the results were discussed by Flight and Section Commanders with the O.C. and various suggestions and points of interest were raised.‍
