Daily flying practice has been carried out for some time, and attention is now being turned to night-flying. The O.C. Flight and Section commanders held discussions to-day to make arrangements for this. An electric flare path is to be laid out and a newly acquired chance light will be employed in assisting pilots to make their night landings. Favourable weather conditions are awaited for this flying to commence.

A stand-down today and the aircrews are spending the day in bathing and sight-seeing. Capt. STEYTLER left for CAIRO. “Doc” was a popular member of the squadron, and will be missed by all ranks.
