The Squadron is slightly over-strength owing to the shortage of Cape Corps personnel (42) being more than made up by surplus air crews. Casualty Return
The Commanding Officer, Lt.-Colonel C. S. COPPEN, left by air for CAIRO on administrative matters and particularly to make arrangements for the return to the Union of tour-expired aircrews.
The Information Officer attached to Wing gave two lectures, "Tripolitania and Tunisia", to the Air crews and later to the Ground crews. Both were well attended and it is hoped that these talks will be made a regular feature of the Wing in future – particularly when the Squadron is not operating.

No operations to-day. Lt. Col. Kotzé, a few Officers and senior N.C.O.s., left on a week’s leave at SORRENTO. Capt. Dugmore left for BARI, en route to the Union.
